HASSAN: A woman was brutally attacked by a group of women at a unisex salon in Hassan on Friday. The victim was identified as Sheela S R and the attack was reportedly motivated by a personal vendetta.
Arpita, the wife of KRS leader Ramesh, who was running a beauty parlour, had previously accused Sheela, who was working as an employee, of theft. Sheela was later fired and she filed a complaint, but Arpita allegedly spread false rumors about her wherever Sheela joined work.
On Friday, the dispute escalated, and Arpita, along with Monica, Suchitra, Pankaj and Tilak, attacked Sheela at Slash Unisex salon, where she was working. The Hassan City Police have registered a case against the accused and taken up further investigation.
