Grand Ayudha Puja held at Mysuru Palace with traditional fervour

MYSURU: Ayudha Puja was held in a grand manner with all traditions in the Mysuru Palace in the presence of royal family members on Monday.

The royal family scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar performed Ayudha Puja to the traditional royal sword, royal elephant (Pattada Aane), horse and cow, and vehicles used by the family.

The royal weapons were brought through Anebagilu, accompanied by traditional musical instruments, and were returned to the palace after puja at the Kodi Someshwar temple in the palace premises.

Yaduveer’s mother Pramoda Devi Wodiyar, wife Trishika Wadiyar and son Adhyaveer were present during the occasion.
