YADGIR: The headmaster of a government school at Anpur village has been booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly sexually harassing girl students. He had earlier been suspended by zilla panchayat CEO Garima Panwar.
The headmaster Hanamegouda had allegedly been harassing girl students of Classes 8, 9 and 10 over the 2-3 years. When a team of four officials visited the school on Thursday, the girl students narrated the tale of horror.
Based on the report of the officials, DDPIU Manjunath H T lodged a complaint with the Gurmitkal police who have registered a case under the POCSO Act.
