BENGALURU: Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot on Saturday congratulated the team of Isro for the successful launch of the the Aditya-L1 spacecraft, designed to study the Sun.
The governor penned a letter to Isro chairman S Somanath expressing happiness at this significant milestone. “It is an immense pleasure to know that after the successful mission of Chandrayan-3, Isro has planned and successfully launched Aditya-L1 mission, the first space based Indian mission to study the Sun. Chandrayaan-3 has thrilled the world, and looking eagerly to the launch of Aditya-L1. I hope that the extraordinary accomplishments of Isro strengthen the spirit of scientific temper in our society and give our youth the inspiration to excel in fields of scientific endeavor”, the governor wrote.
“This mission will provide a greater advantage of observing the solar activities and its effect on space. This exceptional success is due to the dedication and commitment of our Scientists who are relentlessly pursuing scientific knowledge to unlock the mysteries of the universe. I wish you & your team for the very best in efforts to bring glory to Bharat during the Amrith Kaal. Once again I congratulate all of you for dedication and accomplishment for making India proud”, he added.
