BENGALURU: “Good education is essential for the empowerment of society”, said Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, MLA of Malleswaram constituency.
Speaking as the chief guest at the 4th edition of Vidhya Mandira, a two-day postgraduate education expo, organised by Public TV, he emphasised the importance of education in taking the country forward.
He noted that education is a highly competitive field and that students often complete their degrees without much thought. “There is a lack of proper information about higher education among students,” he said. “Without a policy, no system can function”, MLA added.
Dr. Ashwath Narayan also highlighted the need for emotional intelligence and awareness in society. “People are being misled emotionally. Good education is essential for the empowerment of society. We need to understand the power of education”, he added.
