MANGALURU: Girish Mattannanavar has submitted a 500-page document to the special investigation team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala case, alleging that several unnatural deaths in Dharmasthala over the years haven’t been properly investigated.
He requested the SIT to investigate these deaths, providing detailed records of unnatural deaths in Dharmasthala spanning 35 years, with most cases remaining uninvestigated.
The SIT has summoned Dharmasthala panchayat officials to appear before them, following Mattannanavar’s release of documents related to alleged forgery in panchayat records.
The officials visited the SIT office with relevant documents, which will be cross-verified with Mattannanavar’s submissions. The SIT aims to gather more information from the officials and compare the documents to uncover the truth behind the alleged unnatural deaths and irregularities.
