Garbage vehicle stolen in Bhalki village, police launch probe

BIDAR: A garbage vehicle belonging to the gram panchayat, used to pick up waste from villages, has been stolen by unidentified miscreants from Mehakar village in Bhalki taluk. The theft occurred when the driver had stopped near his house for lunch.

The driver Ganesh has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the vehicle, costing about Rs 5 lakh, was stolen when he was inside his house. The police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
