Garbage autos have GPS tracking, notices issued

BENGALURU: With many complaints of garbage autos not going to many areas, the Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Corporation has stepped forward to put the brakes on the mischief of garbage autos. The corporation has taken the initiative to issue a notice to install GPS tracking devices in each garbage auto.

It has also taken the initiative to change the garbage black spots. The WMCL has asked the traffic police for a list of black spots where traffic congestion is occurring. If the traffic police provide the list of black spots, and it will immediately change the location.

After that, Bengaluru residents filed complaints saying that garbage autos are not coming to their houses.

Following the complaints, the authorities have moved to stop the activities of garbage autos. They have started installing GPS devices to track where the garbage autos are. Every garbage auto must be issued a notice and must install GPS as per an advisory.

Furthermore, traffic police have complained to the solid waste management authorities that garbage autos are parked on many roads in Bengaluru, causing traffic congestion and problems. They too will also be issued a notice seeking replies.

Notices should be given to each garbage auto and GPS should be installed. If it is not done, a notice will be issued seeking replis. Dumps is being planned without causing traffic congestion and traffic problems.
