DAVANAGERE: A fire broke out at a car repair workshop on Old PB Road in the city, destroying four cars including an MUV. The fire, which started at Maruti Garage, was quickly brought under control by the fire department, preventing further damage to nearby shops and garages.
The garage, owned by Arun M P, suffered significant losses, with a Mahindra Bolero, a Hyundai i20 car, a Ford Ikon car and a Force Cruiser being destroyed in the blaze. The fire department responded promptly, and their swift action prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent shops and garages.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the Gandhi Nagar police have taken up further investigation.
