TUMKURU: Four members of a family were seriously injured after their car overturned near Rajavanti in Pavagada taluk of Tumakuru district. Police said the accident occurred as the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The car, a Hyundai Creta, with registration number KA 06 MB 3314, was on its way from Tumakur to Pavagada en route to Mantralaya. The car was completely crushed in the accident. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Bengaluru via ambulance.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Pavagada police station.
