BENGALURU: Four members of a family, including two children, committed suicide in Yediyurappanagar, Singanayakanahalli, Yelahanka taluk.
The deceased have been identified as Avinash (38), his wife Mamata (30), and their children Adheer (5) and 2 and six-month-old Anaya.
Avinash, a native of Kalaburagi, worked as a cab driver. It is suspected that a family dispute led to the suicide. Initially, the children were killed, and then the couple committed suicide. The incident occurred on Sunday night, but the exact reason behind the suicide is unknown.
The family was living in a rental house owned by one Narasappa. Avinash’s brother Uday filed a complaint at the Rajanukunte police station. The police have visited the site and are investigating the matter.
