RAICHUR: Four members of a family were killed and one seriously injured after a bus and container collided in Dubai on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Shafi Sulled (53), an employee of Raichur Agricultural University, his wife Siraj Begum (45), their daughter Shifa (20), and Shafi’s mother Baby Jan, residents of Dwarakanagar in the city. On February 14, they left the city for the Umrah pilgrimage.
The bus in which they were travelling collided with a container, and all four of them died while Sameer, the son, was seriously injured and he is undergoing treatment.
