CHAMARAJANAGAR, CHITRADURGA: Four people died an at least four others were injured in separate accidents in the state on Tuesday.
Two people, hailing from Malappuram in Kerala, died after their car collided head-on with a Tempo Traveller passenger van near Bengagalli Gate in Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar district. One injured person was shifted to a hospital. The Begur police visited the spot and have registered a case.
In another incident, two people died and three others were injured when the car they were travelling in overturned after hitting the road divider near Bommakkanahalli in Molakalmuru taluk of Chitradurga district. The deceased were identified as Moula (35) and Rehman (15) of Yadgir. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Ballari.
The family was on its way from Bengaluru to Yadgir for a function when the accident occurred. The incident was captured on CCTV camera. The Rampura police visited the spot and registered a case.
