BIDAR: Four teachers from Aurad taluk, who had taken part in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) route march, have been issued notices by the Block Education Officer (BEO) of Aurad, asking them to explain their actions.

The notice was issued after a photo of the event went viral, and the Deputy Director of the Education Department instructed BEO Ramesh to take action within 24 hours. The Dalit Sene had also filed a complaint against the teachers.

BEO Ramesh stated that the four teachers have been issued a notice and they are yet to submit their explanation. “After receiving their reports, appropriate action will be taken”, he told Public TV.

Dalit Sene taluk president Sunil Mitra has demanded that action be taken against the teachers, stating that they had filed a complaint with the Education Department and urged the taluk BEO to take suitable action against the teachers.
