BENGALURU: The Jeevan Bima Nagar police have arrested four bullies who targeted online delivery agents and fleece them.
The arrested accused are Bharath, Vignesh, Joel, and Abhishek, all from the Vibhutipura area near HAL. The gang had targeted delivery agents on August 4 and 21 at the same place near Konena Agrahara in HAL.
Following the attack, the delivery agents had lodged a complaint with the Jeevan Bima Nagar police. The police traced the gang, who had assaulted and fleeced people in areas including Bayalu Maretahalli and K R Puram, flashing swords and intimidating people.
The gang would target delivery agents, rob them of their valuables, and even take their food and snacks. The police have seized four bikes, swords and machetes from the accused. The police are looking out for another accused and have registered a case at the Jeevan Bima Nagar police station.
