BENGALURU: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader and former MLC Prof K Narahari passed away at the age of 93 at 4.30 am on Wednesday at his residence in Bengaluru due to age-related issues.
He had served as a field worker of the RSS, as the all-India president of the Rashtriya Shaikshika Mahasangh, and as a member of the Legislative Council. He was also president of the Mythic Society.
Narahari had also fought against the imposition of Emergency and served time in prison. Arrangements were made for people to pay their last respects to Narahari at his residence in Srirampura till 2.30 pm and last rites were performed at the electric crematorium at Harishchandra Ghat on Wednesday.
