BENGALURU: Former minister and former MLA of Anekal Assembly constituency, MP Keshavamurthy (85), passed away due to prolonged illness on Tuesday.
Keshavmurthy, who was suffering from an age-related illnesses, was under treatment in a hospital for some time. He breathed last in a private hospital in Bengaluru without responding to treatment.
A two-time MLA from Anekal Assembly constituency, he served as Minister of Forests and Minor Irrigation in Veerappa Moily’s cabinet.
