DAVANAGERE: Former MLA M P Renukacharya has been going around the entire constituency even after losing the Assembly polls. He contested from Honnali constituency, but loses to D G Shanthana Gowda by a margin of over 17,560 votes.
Renukacharya has been visiting the places where he laid foundation stone for various works during his tenure and is doing more rounds of the constituency than the newly elected MLA. He is going around with his supporters pointing out to several works that were done during his tenure as MLA.
He also reviewed the construction work on the multi-village pure drinking water supply unit in Honnali, projects on water recharging to lakes, development of Hirekalmath lake. Renukacharya is visiting every village ever since he lost the polls.
