MANGALURU: Former chairman of Karnataka Bank, Polali Jayaram Bhat, died of a heart attack on Wednesday.
Jayaram Bhat suffered a severe heart attack at the Mangalore International Airport upon his arrival from Mumbai this afternoon. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, but breathed his last without responding to treatment.
Jayaram Bhatt had vast experience in all aspects of banking operations.
