BENGALURU: Despite having paid parking facilities at all Metro stations in the city, some individuals are misusing the footpaths as parking lots near the Hosahalli Metro station.
The designated parking lot for two-wheelers at the Metro station remains largely empty, while the footpath in front of the station is always congested with parked vehicles. This is causing problems for senior citizens who come for morning walks, as they struggle to navigate through the crowded footpath.
The situation is also inconvenient for students and parents of the nearby BGS school, which is located adjacent to the park. The lack of awareness among some vehicle owners is evident, as they park their vehicles in front of the park gate, blocking access.
The footpath is often fully occupied with parked two-wheelers, making it difficult for pedestrians to pass through. The authorities need to take action to address this issue and ensure that parking rules are enforced.
