The IMD has advised people to take necessary precautions, especially children, senior citizens, and pregnant women, to stay warm and healthy during this period. The cold wave is expected to peak in January, and people are advised to take care of their health and stay informed about the weather updates.

“The minimum temperature is expected to drop between November 26 and 30 across the state. In south-interior Karnataka, the minimum temperature will be in the range of 18-20°C and in north-interior Karnataka, it will be between 15-17°C. The cold conditions will increase from December 1. In the north-interior Karnataka districts, it can drop to 12-14°C. In the next five days, the minimum temperature won’t change much at night due to the cyclonic effect in the Bay of Bengal”, said C S Patil of the weather department.
The IMD has also warned that the cold wave may lead to health issues, and people should take care of their diet and lifestyle. It’s essential to stay warm, eat healthy food, and avoid venturing out in the cold unless necessary. Overall, it’s going to be a chilly winter in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka, and people should be prepared to face the cold wave.
