Five law students injured after speeding car overturns

BENGALURU: Five students of a private university, who were heading for classes in a car, had a lucky escape after the vehicle hit a mound and crashed into a roadside tree on Wednesday morning.

Of the five students in the car, one was seriously injured while the others sustianed minor injuries. The students are said to be pursuing their LLB course and the accident occurred on the Anekal-Chandapura main road near the Karpur Gate on the outskirts of the city.

It is said that the car was overspeeding. Some locals helped shift the injured students to a hospital. The Toyota Etios car, in which the students were travelling, had a Kerala registration number and was totalled. The Anekal police visited the spot and registered a case.
