KOLAR: A serial accident involving a private bus, lorry and two cars occurred in the early hours on Saturday near Kondarajanahalli Gate on the outskirts of the city. Five injured people, including the bus driver, were admitted to hospital.
Around 6 am, the bus belonging to contract iPhone maker Wistron, collided with a lorry that was parked on the side of the road. This was followed by a collision between an Ertiga and a Swift car that were following the bus.
Fortunately, no one was killed in the accident, and five people in the cars suffered minor injuries. They are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The Kolar Rural Police have visited the scene and are investigating the incident, which has been registered at the Kolar Rural police station.
