CHAMARAJANAGAR: Five people travelling in a MUV escaped with injuries after the speeding vehicle fell into a 20-foot-deep ditch under a bridge near Hanur in the wee hours on Wednesday.
The car, coming from Attibele in Bengaluru, was heading to Male Mahadeshwara Hills when the driver lost control and the vehicle fell into the ditch around 3 am on Wednesday.
The five occupants of the car are being treated for injuries at a hospital in Hanur. The Hanur police visited the spot.
