KOLAR: The district police have arrested five people peddling drugs, including MDMA pills and ganja, in separate cases and seized the narcotic substances along with vehicles and mobiles phones from them.
The Kolar CEN (cyber crime, narcotics and economic offences) police arrested three people near Sultan Tippasandra and seized MDMA pills weighing 5.5 gm worth about Rs 20,000 from them. The arrested are Sameer Pasha, Tameem Khan and Shahid Pasha. The police also seized a car, four mobile phones and weapons from them.
The Gulpet police arrested two people for peddling ganja near Tamaka Layout in Nadupalli in Kolar and seized 5 kg of the narcotic substance worth Rs 5 lakh from the duo. The arrested are Nagaraj and Nagendra.
