Firearm of Janardhana Reddy’s gunman stolen

BALLARI: The gunman of the G Janardhana Reddy family has lost his firearm which was kept in the security personnel’s room. The pistol had six live rounds loaded in it.

The gunman, Bala Mukund Shukla, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, had kept his loaded pistol in his room at Eranagouda Colony in Cowl Bazaar police limits. The firearm was stolen when he had gone to sleep leaving the main door open.

Shukla is the gunman for Reddy’s wife Aruna Lakshmi and their son for the last two years. Based on CCTV footage, the police are trying to trace the thief.
