BALLARI: Three shops were gutted in an accidental fire near the Jindal factory bypass in Toranagal, Sandur taluk, on Wednesday. Luckily, there was no loss of life.
The fire ravaged an automobile shop, an electrical store, and a hotel, causing an estimated loss of Rs 30 lakh.
Locals panicked due to the dense smoke. Firefighters arrived, but the shops were already burnt. A case has been registered at the Toranagal police station.
