BENGALURU: An FIR has been registered against Yograj Bhat and other movie team members, following the death of Mohan Kumar (24) who fell 30 feet at a godown in Adakamaranahalli near Nelamangala on the outskirts of the city.
The FIR has been filed against director Yograj Bhat, manager Suresh, assistant manager Manohar, and Krishnappa from Adamarakanahalli at the Madanayakanahalli police station.
The incident occurred on the sets of the film ‘Manada Kadal’ directed by Yograj Bhat, on Tuesday evening, and Mohan Kumar died on Wednesday. A library scene had been set up in the godown for the movie ‘Production No. 4’.
Mohan Kumar slipped and fell when he was removing a light from a height of 30 feet using an aluminum rostrum and suffered severe head injuries. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Goraguntepalya for the past three days but succumbed to his injuries.
