BENGALURU: A woman wrote a love letter in blood to a police inspector, and now an FIR has been registered against her at the Ramamurthy Nagar police station.

The woman left the love letter along with a box of kajjaya (sweet dish), a flower bouquet, and 20 tablets on two sheets on his table when the inspector was not in the station.

The letter read, “You do not accept my love; I don’t want to trouble you… If you do not accept my love, I will commit suicide, and you will be responsible for my death”, with a heart symbol and adding, “Chinni loves you… you must love me”, in blood.

Prior to writing the letter, the woman had sent many messages to the inspector’s mobile phone. Fed up with her, the inspector blocked her number. But she kept sending messages from more than ten different numbers and the inspector blocked all those numbers as well. In response to the blocked numbers, she wrote the letter.

Frustrated by the woman’s harassment, the inspector filed an FIR against her. A case has been registered at Ramamurthy Nagar police station under charges of obstructing duty and suicide threat.
