BENGALURU: An FIR has been filed against the organiser of a party and a hotel manager of the JW Marriott hotel on Vittal Mallya Road as the after-party held after presentation of the SIIMA awards went on beyond permissible hours, on September 12.
Numerous big stars from the Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam film industry and also some Bollywood actors were also present at the party.
Acting on a complaint filed by Cubbon Park Inspector Chaitanya, the Cubbon Park police visited the party venue to check on law enforcement around 12 am. The police had informed the organisers to end the party at 1 am. However, it went on till 3.30 am.
The police have issued notices to the party organiser and hotel manager to record their statements regarding violating the law.
