YADAGIR: The incessant rain has destoyed standing paddy crop in about 10 acres in the district.
The rain water inundated the paddy field, destroying standing paddy crops. The farmers are now faced with huge losses as the crop has been completely washed away due to rain. They had spent lakhs of rupees and were waiting for a good yield.
The quantum of loss is yet to be estimated. Affected farmers are hoping for relief from the state government.
