VIJAYANAGAR: A farmer made a wish for brides for all farmers at a temple fair at Hagaribommanahalli on Wednesday evening.
Generally, no one comes forward to give their daughters in marriage to farmers and people mostly choose to marry off their daughters to someone with a job. On Wednesday, a farmer made a wish by writing it on a banana at the Chimmanahalli Durgambika Rathotsava and dedicating it to the mother goddess.
The farmer asked God to change the minds of the people and that farmers also get brides for marriage. A video of the farmer’s act has gone viral on social media.
