BAGALKOT: The Bagalkot CEN police have arrested a farmer, identified as Paramanand Kuri, for storing 26 kg of ganja worth Rs 2.60 lakh. The farmer had cultivated ganja on his farm and stored it for sale.
Acting on specific information, the CEN police raided Paramanand Kuri’s farm at Vajjaramatti village in Mudhol taluk and seized the ganja stock and arrested him. Further investigation is under way.
