CHIKKAMAGALUR: A family had a lucky escape after a wall of their house collapsed due to incessant rain at Allampura village in the taluk on Wednesday. However, an autorickshaw parked outside was completely damaged.
The front wall of the house belonging to Nagesh Shetty fell to the outside and hence, those inside had a lucky escape. The front facia of the house was completely damaged.
An autorickshaw belonging to Jagadish Shetty, which he had parked in front of Nagesh Shetty’s house, was badly damaged. Panchayat officials and members visited the spot and inspected the damage.
