BENGALURU: The family of late actor Dr Rajkumar visited Kanteerava Studios and offered prayers at the memorial on his 95th birthday. A huge number of fans too had gathered to remember the birthday of their favourite actor.
Raghavendra Rajkumar, his wife Mangala, Dr Raj’s daughter Lakshmi, and Ashwini Rajkumar’s daughter Vandita visited the Dr Rajkumar memorial at Kanteerava Studio. Family members performed puja and offered prayers at the Dr Raj memorial. Television actor Honnavalli Krishna also joined the Raj family in puja.
The fans of Dr Rajkumar organised various programmes today to celebrate the lat actor’s his 95th birth anniversary in a more meaningful manner. Like every year, the state government and the Dr Raj Kumar Memorial Trust organised different programmes including blood and eye donation camps, and mass feeding (Annadana) at the birthplace of Dr Rajkumar. The social service activities were organised on the premises of Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru in the morning itself.
The orchestra in the name of Dr Raj Kumar and Puneeth Raj Kumar played in the evening today.
