Family, fans of late actor Vishnuvardhan observe his 15 death anniversary

BENGALURU, MYSURU: The 15th death anniversary of late actor ‘Sahasa Simha’ Dr Vishnuvardhan was observed at Abhiman Studios in Bengaluru and the Vishnu Memorial Hall in Mysuru. Family members, including his wife Bharati Vishnuvardhan and son-in-law actor Anirudh, paid their respects to his statue with offerings of flowers and performed puja.

Bharati Vishnuvardhan spoke to the media and said that a good memorial for Vishnuvardhan will be built in the future, which will bring joy to his fans. “Fans will celebrate. Nothing is in our hands. It will happen as God directs”, she said while referring to the construction of a memorial for the late actor.

It’s been 15 years since Dr Vishnuvardhan’s demise, but the dispute over the construction of the memorial in Mysuru is still continuing. Fans have been opposing the construction of the memorial in Mysuru and instead want it to be built at the place where his body was cremated. Despite this, the family has defended the construction, saying that it is being built with good intentions.

Bharati Vishnuvardhan said, “The government will join hands with us and do more work on the memorial. Then the memorial will look even more beautiful. Meanwhile, the burden of continuing this is on the fans. A good piece of advice to fans: Take good care of your parents”.

About the fan war over the domination issue in Sandalwood, Bharati said, “This is a cycle of time. Change is the law of the world. Good things happen; bad things also happen. Everything happens in the world, nothing is in our hands. Everything is done by God. God does the work of fixing everything. None of our fans are like that. All of our fans are educated and there is no need to take it differently. The fans have earned a place in our hearts. My husband earned a place in their hearts. No one can change this”.

The family also thanked the actor’s fans for their support and love. Anirudh Vishnuvardhan requested fans to reduce conflicts and instead focus on spreading love and affection. He emphasized that the film industry will grow and set an example for other states if they work together in harmony.

Anirudh said that there is only one ‘Mass Hero’ for him, and that is ‘Sahasa Simha Dr Vishnuvardhan’. “Fans are the reason why the commemoration of Dr Vishnuvardhan is being celebrated with great enthusiasm every year”, he noted.
