Fake FB account created in Bengaluru police commissioner Dayananda’s name

BENGALURU: A Facebook account in the name of Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda has been created by cyber criminals who are sending friend requests to people posing to be the police commissioner.

If anyone accepts the request, they may get a request for money, or there may be a chance of losing money. The scammers have opened the fake account in Hindi and are targeting gullible people. Therefore, people must be careful about understanding cyber fraudesters, the police have warned.
