RAICHUR: Excise officials conducted a raid at a house at Korwar Oni on Gadwal Road here and seized 650 litres of illegal liquor and CH powder. The house belongs to one Gajji Veeresh.
During the raid, the Excise officials found 630 litres of illicit liquor and Rs 22,520 in cash which were seized. They have also registered a case against Gajji Veeresh and his wife Urukundamma.
Recently, the Excise officials had raided Veeresh’s house and seized illict liquor. A case had also been registered against him. However, Veeresh had gone back to the illegal liquor trade.
