CHAMARAJANAGAR: The occupants of a car had a narrow escape when a wild elephant suddenly came charging at them near Hasanur in Tamil Nadu, close to the state border.
The elephant came on to the highway from the forest and suddenly charges at the car while a bus and another car can be seen moving ahead in a video which has now gone viral.
On seeing the charging elephant, the car driver immediately reversed the vehicle for quite a distance till eventually, the elephant crossed over to the other side of the road.
Of late, there have been several such instances where wild elephants have gone chasing vehicles in these parts.
