CHIKKODI: A elderly woman has won many hearts by serving meals and sweet with the money from the Gruha Lakshmi scheme at Suttatti village of Raibagh taluk.
The aged woman, Akkatai Langoti, served meals with Holige to the entire village.
“The Siddaramaiah-led by government is giving us all Rs 2,000 every month. Therefore, we offered prayed to the village deity and sought blessings that CM Siddaramaiah should grow taller politically and we prepared food with sweets in the village”, she said.
The woman donated some items to five women and blessed them. The women of Suttatti village have whole-heartedly welcomed the elderly woman’s effort.
