CHITRADURGA: An elderly couple was brutally murdered at their residence at Vinayaka Layout in Hosadurga town on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Prabhakar Shetru (75) and his wife Vijayalakshmi (65). The couple was attacked by an unidentified person when no one else was at home. The attacker escaped from the spot.
A case has been registered at the Hosadurga police station. The motive for the murder is not yet known and further investigation is under way.
