BENGALURU, MYSURU: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have raided houses and offices of reputed builders in Bengaluru and Mysuru and the search is on.
The ED has raided a total of 11 places including Kingfisher Tower, Malleswaram, Basaveshwaranagar, Bannerghatta Road, Hanumantanagar, UB City in Bengaluru and and places in Mysuru.
The raids were conducted based on several complaints received by the ED, including fraud in allotting sites, illegal business and cheating in payment of property tax. There were complaints of many irregularities against builders and some wellknown real estate companies. The authorities are checking for important documents.
