BENGALURU: Officials of the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) are scrutinizing dozens of documents, which were seized from MUDA office related to the allotment of 14 sites in Mysuru to B M Parvathi, wife of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, covering all transactions, ownership and land conversion details, at their Shanthinagar office.
The ED officials are cross-checking documents to verify land sales, denotification and transfer details. They’re also scrutinizing applications and petitions related to 14 sites in CM Siddaramaiah’s wife’s name. They also checking details about how many sites have been allocated in MUDA so far.
The investigation, expected to end this week, aims to identify irregularities, if any. The officials will cross-check documents and are preparing summon concerned individuals for questioning.
The officials of the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) conducted raids at the Myuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), the tahsildar’s office and the Kengeri residence of Devaraj, the fourth accused in the alleged MUDA site allotment scam, last Friday and Saturday.
