KALABURAGI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached properties worth Rs 5.87 crore, belonging to Congress leader Bhimashankar Bilgundi, in connection with the scholarship scam in the MRMC medical college.

Bhimashankar is also a former president of the HKE Society. The scholarship scam in the college is said to have taken place between 2018 and 2024. A case was registered at the CEN police station and later transferred to the central agency.
In March, the ED officials had raided the residences of Bhimashankar Bilgundi and three others in connection with the scholarship scam.
