MANGALURU: An IndiGo flight bound for Dubai from the Mangalore International Airport (MIA) suffered a bird hit in one of the wings when it was preparing to take off around 11.30 am today.
The pilot immediately informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the the aircraft was brought back from the runway for inspection and all the passengers were deboarded.
The airline later made alternative arrangements for the Dubai-bound passengers by deploying another aircraft which had arrived from Bengaluru.
