BENGALURU: A horrific serial accident occurred in Anekal on the outskirts of Bengaluru, involving a massive container truck that rammed into more than 10 vehicles parked on the roadside, leaving at least five people seriously injured.
The truck driver, who was allegedly drunk, evaded the police for 14 km before being chased and caught by the public, who thrashed him and handed him over to the police.

The driver was pulled out of the truck and thrashed by the public before being handed over to the police. The police have taken the driver into custody and are investigating the incident. The police also visited the scene and the hospital to inquire about the driver’s condition. The truck was carrying courier goods from Kolkata, and the driver allegedly hit a bike at Attibele before hitting other vehicles.

The police have taken the cleaner into custody and are investigating. The driver, Prem, and the cleaner, Narayan Patil, are from Uttar Pradesh. The cleaner jumped out of the truck and escaped when it hit the auto. Additional SP Venkatesh Prasanna confirmed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and added that an investigation into the incident has been launched.
