BENGALURU: A drunken argument ended in the murder of one person at Nagashettyhalli near Sanjaynagar on Thursday night. The deceased is Murthy (45), an autorickshaw driver.
Police said Murthy was a friend of history-sheeter Sharanappa for some years now and both had drinks on Thursday night at Nagashettyhalli. An argument broke out between them and Sharanappa stabbed Murthy with a knife, killing him on the spot.
The Sanjaynagar police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused Sharanappa.
