HAVERI: The driver of a private school bus died after suffering a heart attack while he was dropping off schoolchildren at Kalalagonda village in Savanur taluk on Wednesday evening. The deceased was identfied as Fakiresh Malleshannanavar (25).
The school bus driver felt pain in the chest while he was driving and brought the vehicle to a halt by the roadside. The schoolchildren who were in the bus raised an alarm to alert passersby.
However, Fakiresh died enroute to hospital. The children were later taken home by their parents.
