CHIKKABALLAPUR: With the Assembly election drawing close, political leaders have intensified their election campaign and other activities. Some politicians are trying to lure voters in different ways by offering gas stoves, sarees, cookers and many other things.

Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar also distributed gas stoves for women in the name of consolation prizes for all participants of a rangoli competition which was organised during the Sankranti festival in his constituency.

The Minister is organising a ‘Srinivasa Kalyana’ programme on March 11 and has invited all the public to participate in it. He has decided to gift people gas stoves, sarees, panche and shalya on that day. Sudhakar’s supporters are already going house to house in vehicles and giving away gas stoves and sarees to the family members.
