BENGALURU: A 65-year-old woman was found murdered at her house in Bengaluru, and the accused, Devaraju (50), who worked as a domestic help, was found hanging from the ceiling, having allegedly committed suicide.
The incident occurred around 4.30 am on Sunday. The woman’s husband had returned from Dubai and arrived home around 4.30 am. He rang the bell, and their 27-year-old daughter, who was on the first floor, opened the door and went back to her room.
When the husband entered Sarita’s room, he found her dead and Devaraju hanging from the ceiling. The police were informed and they visited the scene. The daughter was also at home at the time of the incident, but she was in her room on the first floor.
